Our International Certifications

PCI-DSS Certification

The PCI-DSS certification is designed to ensure the protection of cardholder data and defines specific requirements for procedures, network architecture and software to be met by companies that handle credit card numbers (which are stored, processed or transmitted). SCRIGNO web property management software suite and the entire datacenter where it’s hosted obtained the PCI DSS certification in October 2012. Certification is now required as a prerequisite for membership in the major international hotel groups. The trend is spreading in Europe, and will soon become a standard in our country. The strong volume growth of purchases made by credit and debit cards makes the security environment of payment systems becoming more and more important. Cybercrime and the threat of identity theft reduce the confidence of users and consumers in technology in general, and in electronic commerce in particular, reducing the propensity to use the credit card by the end user. That’s why American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB, MasterCard Worldwide and Visa International founded the Payment Card Security directive, known as PCI DSS standards, with the goal of guaranteeing CC data security. These companies as well as more and more tourism operators are already requesting merchants to comply to PCI DSS. Data protection is therefore a central element of the integrated management security based on a careful supervision of processes, people, infrastructure and technology.

HTNG Certification

We have recently obtained the HTNG certification (Hotel Technology Next Generation), which can be issued only after verification of compliance with certain technological parameters for the data interface. HTNG is the global trade association designed to promote and improve the diffusion of technology in the hotels, and manages the only certification program for the hotel sector technologies. The "HTNG Certified" logo on a technology product gives buyers the assurance that a vendor's promises of interoperability are backed up by specific conformance to industry-defined norms. The certification allows you to integrate, implement and support more easily the technology products from different suppliers, in order to get more complete solutions with less direct relationships with suppliers, and to maximize the use of standard methods of system integration because of the ratified certification standards, either as through the adoption of common methods.

NF525 Certification

The Scrigno Suite has obtained the NF 525 certification from Infocert, the certification authority authorized by the French Government, which complies with the French tax law obligation in effect since 1 January 2018.

The NF 525 rules allow software producers who manage payments to propose solutions that guarantee the reliability, integrity, security, and storage of registered sales data.

The work to get the NF525 was very strong, involving several company figures and is an important step forward that confirms our ability and willingness to follow customers in international development.
